Things people face...

I remember a clothes’ shop on MG road Pune where I did ‘Window Merchandising’ for few years/times.
One year the shop owner told me they won’t have a display for Diwali this time. Coz his wife died.
Din’t have a Diwali display but then we did have the x’mas one.
He had a teenage daughter, may be 3/4 yrs younger to me. I remember he asked me to speak to her once. I can’t remember the reason, but he thought I would be able to speak to her and just make her feel better.
Then I tried, but couldn’t meet her.
Now when I look back I can understand how the girl must b feeling after loosing her mom, and how the shop owner must be feeling to have his quiet daughter around, not knowing how to enter her sad world.
